(Aug Event) August 4-10, SD, We Are at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally at Two Locations
Location One:
American Throttle is proud (excited, estatic, dang lucky) to say that our board games will be available for sale at Gypsie Vintage Cycle, 2007 Junction Ave in Sturgis.
Be careful when you walk in the door. You are going to be hit with an authentic vintage bike collection that will blow you away. For example, listed in their inventory is a 1922 red Indian Scout, 99% stock complete. This motorcycle store specializes in vintage American, English and Japanese manufacturers of the 50's and 60's. As cool as that is, the inventory is the tip of the iceberg.
THIS IS THE COOLEST PART: The store is located in the same building that held JC Pappy Hoyel's old motorcycle shop. He started the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally back in 1938. If this whole thing sounds like it has the making of a great trivia question, it does. And the question is: What brand of motorcycle did Pappy sell?
But forget trivia for the moment and drool over an eye full of real motorcycle history. Visit Gypsie Vintage Cycle! For more information call 605-347-6488.
Location Two:
Steve Hill and Holly Thomas are two of coolest people you will ever meet. We met them in Fairplay, CO, this year during the 22nd Annual Ladies Run of Colorado. Steve won some awards for his war veteran themed, mega detailed, perfectly visually balanced bike. Check out their photos at HawgWash.net.
They sell a complete line of waterless technology products for motorcycles, cars, trucks, recreation vehicles, boats and aircraft. David bought some, it works. It really works well. Hawgwash also has a bunch of American Throttle board games available. Maybe if you buy a game and a bottle of Hwgwash, you'll turn your whole Karma around!
Steve and Holly have their HawgWash booth located at The Gaslight Restaurant & Saloon, 13490 Main St., in Rockerville.
(Aug Event) August 23, CO, Mile High Harley Davidson Fourth Annual Best of Mile High Bike Show
Mile High Harley, in Aurora, Colorado, is a great place to buy a bike! It's also a great place to have an American Throttle booth. From 10 a.m. till 3 p.m. David will be manning the canopy. Sign up to play the game before noon. We'll start as soon as we have at least three people ready to go. Prizes to be announced.
