American Throttle™, The Game is, in a few words, a “Poker Run” that tours the United States. Test your knowledge of motorcycling, motorcycle trivia, and road skills. Add some good old fashioned poker, some time to hang with your biker buddies and an open road attitude, well... you just might have a kick-ass time!
Most of all, the game is about the people you invited in!
It's about having some food, some drink and some laughs. Share stories of rallies you've been to like Laconia, Sturgis or Daytona. Discover places around the country you haven't seen yet, wrangle over what motorcycle was in which movie, check out parts of the bike from the obvious to the obscure. You can even invite your family or friends who don't ride, since they can play to win too!
Here is how it is played:
Put money or anything you would like in the Pot; Pick one of 15 motorcycle player pieces & a poker card; Start in Washington state and roll the die to tour the country; Pick another poker card at each rally; The person to reach California first wins half the Pot; The person with the best poker hand wins the other half of the Pot. The July Dazbog event, in Roxborough, CO, had live music and and a lot of energy. Tom and Mindy walked away with a free American Throttle game (Mindy won), Schady and Dave signed it first. Rose, who owns the Roxborough DazBog, posed with second prize winner, Holly. Holly married a great musician who played the awesome tunes all evening. Thank you Warren! Thanks to Evan and Keith who also joined in the game.
The First Annual Brother's BBQ Motorcycle Show was well attended for the first event. Obviously we were happy to check out the Go-Fast Chopper. But we also appreciated the great bikes that came in to compete. From rockets to cruisers to choppers, the bikes were quality machines!
So we took shots of the us with the owners of Brother's BBQ, with the Go-Fast Chopper and Go-Fast Girls. Then there was the shot of Shady and pal Jeff putting the jumper cables to a bike that lost it's spark. At American Throttle, we always try to do something good for someone everyday... I guess.
